Europe

I've found out more about my trip to Europe, now.

Seems I'll be leaving from Pearson International on June 27th, to return on July 29th.
We'll fly to Frankfurt (a good 8 hours, if I remember correctly from last time), then go to the house in Andlau, Alsace in the North East for a few days to rest. Then to Paris, then south-west France, the Spain, including Bilbao and hopefully Figueras., birthplace of Salvador Dali, and home of his museum. Then to a cottage in Umbria (Italy), and to Florence for a couple days. At some point, we might venture into Germany and possibly Switzerland, as well.

Craziness abounds

Today I got my Mars Volta ticket in the mail. Even if Ticketmaster is the spawn of some satanic being or another, you have to admit they get the tickets out in a reasonable time.

I also got a pair of Blackspot Sneakers, and am now a shareholder in the Blackspot Anti-Corperation, created by Adbusters. Very awesome.

Countdown to Awesomeness

Awesome things in the not-too-distant-future for Andrew:

• April 1st, show in Port Elgin
• April 8th, Sold out Christo and Jeanne-Claude lecture at Convocation hall
• May 13th, The Mars Volta, Live at the Kool Haus
• May 23rd, New York City
• June 27th or so, Europe.

Tummy Frog: The Revenge

Looks like after some conflict, Tummy Frog: The Revenge (which I am invited to play with)will be playing at the show in Port Elgin Ontario, April 1st. There's going to be some great bands there, I highly recommend it. go to www.oslocal.net for more info.

I'm trying to get this place back into some working order. New look, some new things, and deletion of the useless posts.

I saw Matthew Good last night

It was awesome...though there was 5 hours straight of standing. Stabilo opened for him, and they were great, then he came on, and he was even more great. All in all a great time.
